Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Rightly app and studyrightly.com, operated by Maranatha Technologies (“we”). By using Rightly you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Rightly is a Bible study app. Core reading and study features are free, and we do not show ads. Rightly is in development, so features may change, and parts of the service may be unavailable from time to time.
Your account
You can sign in with an email link or with Sign in with Apple. Keep access to your email and devices secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@studyrightly.com if you think someone else has used it.
Your notes
Your notes and highlights belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and transmit them only as needed to sync them to your devices and run the service. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle them and how to have them deleted.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the service: do not try to break or overload it, access other people’s accounts or data, or use it to break the law.
Texts and data
The Bible translation, original-language texts, lexicons and commentaries in Rightly are in the public domain or published under open licenses, and are credited on our home page. Their licenses continue to apply to them. The Rightly name, logo, app design and software are ours.
Word studies come from tagged original-language data and published lexicons, and commentaries are reproduced from their published sources. They are study aids, not a substitute for your own careful reading.
No warranty
Rightly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to keep the texts and data accurate, but we cannot promise they are free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Maranatha Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Rightly.
Ending use
You can stop using Rightly at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let signed-in users know. Continuing to use Rightly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
